Boston’s Museum of Science first relied on a mobile billboard ad to promote its Tornadoes and Dinosaurs exhibits to children and parents as a fun an educational event, advance of and during April vacation week.

As a result of that campaign’s significant increase in vistors at the museum, the followig year the billboard truck returned to Boston and its suburbs, promoting an exhibit called Frogs and film about the Amazon that was shown on the huge IMAX Mugar Omni Theatre.

Both years, the ad truck made a stop on Heartbreak Hill along the Boston Marathon course on race day for added exposure.
